How we chose and how to read the numbers
The list is Amazon's best-seller order for building sets on Nov 5, 2026, so these are sets people are actually buying. Most of the top sixteen were LEGO. We skipped sets with fewer than about 500 ratings, including holiday sets (a snowman ornament set and a gingerbread house) that have only a few dozen to a couple hundred ratings, and one Botanicals set with fewer ratings than the daisies. We also kept only one version of near-duplicates, so some Creator 3 in 1 and City sets are left out. Several skipped listings show 4.9 stars, but with few ratings, which tells you little.
Two numbers appear on each card. The star rating and rating count come from Amazon shoppers, not from us. Sales rank is Amazon's ordering inside its category: a lower number means the item is selling more right now. It changes by the day and says it sells, not that it suits your child.

Match the set number. Titles carry a number such as 10698 or 31134. Check it against what you meant to buy, since a similarly named set can be a different size or age.
