Stand Mixers on the Black Friday Watchlist: Bowl Size, Motor and Attachments

Ten best sellers, who each fits, and the spec traps.

DK By DopamineKart Legit | Published Nov 5, 2026
Short answer

These ten stand mixers are Amazon best sellers as of Nov 5, 2026. Bowl size in quarts is the first filter, but a quart number is not a batch size. Watts are the maker's own figure and differ in meaning between brands. Check tilt-head versus bowl-lift, which attachments ship in the box, and whether an attachment hub exists for add-ons.

What this article isThis is research-based. We did not buy or test any mixer. We took the ten from Keepa's list of Amazon best sellers in stand mixers, pulled Nov 5, 2026, and skipped an accessory listing and products with only a few dozen ratings. One included model has fewer than 500 ratings and we say so. Each description comes from the Amazon listing bullets, so we write "the listing says". Ratings come from Amazon shoppers, not us. No prices appear here.

How we chose and how to read the numbers

The list is Amazon's best-seller order for stand mixers on Nov 5, 2026, so these are mixers shoppers are actually buying. We skipped a wire-whip replacement accessory, listings with only a few dozen ratings, and near-copies. That left ten from the top sixteen. Several Kitchen in the box and VIVOHOME listings are alike at a glance, so we kept one or two of each rather than the whole family.

Two numbers appear on each card. The star rating and rating count come from Amazon shoppers, not from us. Sales rank is Amazon's ordering inside its category: a lower number means the item is selling more right now. A rank changes by the day, and a high rank says it sells, not that it suits your kitchen.

KitchenAid Artisan 5-Qt Tilt-Head (KSM150PS)

KitchenAid Artisan 5-Qt Tilt-Head (KSM150PS)

Who it's for: Someone who wants a mainstream tilt-head with a mid-size bowl. The listing says 5 quarts, 10 speeds, a metal build, 59 touchpoints around the bowl, and a dishwasher-safe stainless bowl that it says mixes up to 9 dozen cookies using the flat beater.

The catch: The cookie count is the maker's example using 28 g dough pieces, not a promise for every dough. The title names a color (Milkshake), and the listing says over 20 colors exist, so confirm the color variant before ordering.

Instead: If you bake bread in big batches, look at the 7-quart bowl-lift below.

Kitchen in the box 3.2-Qt Tilt-Head

Kitchen in the box 3.2-Qt Tilt-Head

Who it's for: A small kitchen or a one- or two-person household. The listing says 3.2 quarts, under 7 lbs, 6 speeds, 4 anti-slip suckers, a transparent splash lid, and an aluminum dough hook, flat beater and steel whisk.

The catch: The listing itself describes it as a mini mixer for new bakers. A 3.2-quart bowl will not suit double batches. The brand is a lesser-known maker, so read the warranty terms on the listing.

Instead: If you plan on large cookie or bread batches, step up to a 5-quart or larger bowl.

#3Martha Stewart4.3 stars from 320 ratingsAmazon sales rank #4,037 on Nov 5, 2026
Martha Stewart 5.3-Qt Tilt-Head

Martha Stewart 5.3-Qt Tilt-Head

Who it's for: Someone who wants a 5-quart-class tilt-head with a pour chute. The listing says 5.3 quarts, 12 speeds, a removable splash shield, three attachments (whisk, dough hook, flat beater with silicone edge), and that it is sold exclusively on Amazon.

The catch: This is a newer listing with about 320 ratings, fewer than the long-running models here. The listing gives no motor wattage. Other than the Amazon exclusive, we found no spec to separate it from similar tilt-heads.

Instead: If you want a model with a long track record and a wide rating base, compare the KitchenAid and Cuisinart listings.

Worth knowing: Few ratings so far. We could not confirm the maker's page, so we kept to the listing bullets.

#4VIVOHOME4.5 stars from 3,884 ratingsAmazon sales rank #5,366 on Nov 5, 2026
VIVOHOME 6-Qt Tilt-Head

VIVOHOME 6-Qt Tilt-Head

Who it's for: A household of two to four people who wants a bigger bowl. The listing says 660W copper motor, 10 speeds plus pulse, a 6-quart bowl it says holds 3 bread loaves or 2.2 lbs of flour, an egg separator and a splash guard.

The catch: Wattage is the maker's figure and the listing gives no test method for its "quiet" and "stable" claims. The listing says suction cups help steady it, which does not replace a heavy base for stiff dough.

Instead: If you often knead stiff dough, read how reviewers describe stability on a bowl-lift or a heavier metal model.

KitchenAid Classic 4.5-Qt Tilt-Head (K45SS)

KitchenAid Classic 4.5-Qt Tilt-Head (K45SS)

Who it's for: A newer baker or smaller kitchen who still wants the KitchenAid format. The listing says 4.5 quarts, 10 speeds, a metal build, coated flat beater, dough hook and 6-wire whip in the box, and 10-plus attachments sold separately.

The catch: The listing says attachments are sold separately, so the add-ons are an extra purchase. The 4.5-quart bowl is smaller than the Artisan, and the listing says it mixes up to 8 dozen cookies versus 9 for the 5-quart.

Instead: If you want the extra half quart, compare the Artisan 5-quart.

Aucma 6.5-Qt Tilt-Head

Aucma 6.5-Qt Tilt-Head

Who it's for: Someone who wants a large bowl with handles. The listing says 6.5 quarts, 660W copper motor, 6 speeds plus pulse, dual bowl handles, a splash guard with access hatch, and three dishwasher-safe attachments.

The catch: Six speeds is fewer than the 10 to 12 on several others here. The "lower operation noise" claim carries a 76 dB ceiling in the listing, which is the maker's figure and gives no comparison. Bullets mention "authentication" without saying which.

Instead: If you fold delicate batters often, a model with more low-end speed steps may suit you better.

#7Cuisinart4.7 stars from 10,037 ratingsAmazon sales rank #7,347 on Nov 5, 2026
Cuisinart 5.5-Qt Tilt-Back (SM-50BK)

Cuisinart 5.5-Qt Tilt-Back (SM-50BK)

Who it's for: Someone who wants a 5.5-quart mixer with a stated 3-year limited warranty and an attachment outlet. The listing says 500 watts, die-cast metal, 12 speeds, a chef's whisk, mixing paddle, dough hook and a splash guard with pour spout, plus one power outlet for optional attachments.

The catch: The optional attachments (pasta, ice cream, grinder, spiralizer) are sold separately. The warranty details say to refer to the manual, so read it before you count on it.

Instead: If you want a different attachment ecosystem, check that the hub fits what you plan to add.

KitchenAid 7-Qt Bowl-Lift (KSM70SKXX)

KitchenAid 7-Qt Bowl-Lift (KSM70SKXX)

Who it's for: Someone who bakes bread or large cookie batches. The listing says 7 quarts, 11 speeds including a half-speed for folding, a double flex edge beater, flat beater, dough hook, 11-wire whip and a pouring shield, and that it mixes 13 dozen cookies per batch.

The catch: This is a bowl-lift, so the bowl is raised on arms rather than the head tilting. The rating is lower than the other KitchenAid listings here and the rating count is smaller, so read the review pages. Large-batch cookie counts are the maker's example.

Instead: If you bake smaller batches, the 5-quart Artisan takes less counter space.

#9ZACME4.6 stars from 555 ratingsAmazon sales rank #11,654 on Nov 5, 2026
ZACME 5.5-Qt Tilt-Head with LED Display

ZACME 5.5-Qt Tilt-Head with LED Display

Who it's for: Someone who wants a timer and display. The listing says 5.5 quarts, 600W DC motor, 8 constant-speed levels, an LED display with timing, aluminum die-cast body and metal gears, and a dough hook, beater and whisk.

The catch: The listing quotes its own test data (surface temperature below 95 F, under 70 dBA), and gives no test method. It has about 555 ratings, so the base is thinner than the big-name models. The brand is less known.

Instead: If you want a proven track record, weigh the long-running models with more ratings.

Worth knowing: The rating count is just over 500. The test figures are from the listing, not independent.

#10Hamilton Beach4.2 stars from 8,266 ratingsAmazon sales rank #14,335 on Nov 5, 2026
Hamilton Beach Classic Stand and Hand Mixer, 4-Qt

Hamilton Beach Classic Stand and Hand Mixer, 4-Qt

Who it's for: A cook who wants a stand mixer and a hand mixer in one. The listing says the hand mixer detaches from the base, with 4 quarts, 6 speeds with QuickBurst, a bowl rest, 290 watts peak power and five attachments (two beaters, two dough hooks, a whisk).

The catch: "290 watts peak power" is a peak figure, not a continuous one, so do not compare it directly with the wattage on a full-size stand mixer. Its 4-quart bowl is on the small side.

Instead: If you knead bread often, compare the metal-body tilt-heads with larger bowls.

Quarts measure the bowl, not the batch. The KitchenAid listings pair each size with a cookie count (8 dozen for 4.5 quarts, 9 dozen for 5, 13 dozen for 7), and each says it uses 28 g dough pieces with the flat beater. Heavy bread dough fills a bowl faster than cookie dough, so treat these as the maker's example. How to shop this category on Black Friday

Tilt-head versus bowl-lift. Eight of these ten are tilt-heads, the Cuisinart is tilt-back, and the 7-quart KitchenAid is a bowl-lift. Per the listings, tilt-heads give easy access to the bowl and attachments, and the larger bowl-lift is the one that lists the biggest batch figures.

Watts are the maker's number. Listings quote 290 peak, 300, 500, 600 and 660 watts, and some say copper motor or DC motor. KitchenAid's listings here give no wattage. Peak watts, copper wording and motor type do not tell you torque or how a mixer handles stiff dough, so do not compare them across brands as if they were the same measure.

Check what ships in the box. The KitchenAid Classic lists a bowl, flat beater, dough hook and 6-wire whip. The Aucma lists a whisk, hook and beater. The Hamilton Beach lists five attachments. A "special" listing may bundle or leave out pieces, so match the model number to the contents list.

Attachment hub compatibility. The Cuisinart listing mentions one power outlet for optional attachments such as pasta and a grinder. The KitchenAid Classic listing says 10-plus attachments are sold separately. A separate KitchenAid wire whip we saw on Keepa says it fits specific tilt-head models (K45SS, KSM75, KSM95, KSM150PS, KSM152PS, KSM155GB), so confirm fit by model number, not by brand alone.

Colors and variants. The KitchenAid Artisan title names Milkshake, and the listing says over 20 colors exist. Confirm the variant in your cart.

Settle these before you buy: Do you bake bread or mostly cake and cookies? How big is your counter and cabinet space? Do you need a tilt-head for access under a cabinet? What is the return window? Possible Whether Amazon will run stand mixer promotions this season. Amazon has not announced its dates as of Nov 4, 2026, and we have no source for any specific stand mixer promotion. What would settle it: Amazon's own deals page when events are announced.

Questions and answers

What is the best-selling stand mixer on Amazon right now?

In the Keepa data pulled Nov 5, 2026, the KitchenAid Artisan 5-quart ranked first among stand mixers. Rank changes daily and measures sales, not quality.

What does Amazon sales rank mean?

It orders products inside a category. A lower number means the item is selling more right now, so rank 1 sells the most. It does not rate quality.

What size stand mixer do I need?

Match the bowl to how much you bake. The 3.2-quart listing targets one or two people, while the 7-quart KitchenAid lists a 13-dozen cookie batch. Quarts are not a recipe size.

Is a 7-quart stand mixer too big?

It depends on your space and batches. The 7-quart KitchenAid is a bowl-lift and holds more than the tilt-heads here, but it will take more counter room.

What is the difference between tilt-head and bowl-lift?

On a tilt-head, the head tips back so you can reach the bowl and attachments. On a bowl-lift, the bowl is raised on arms. Per the listings, the tilt-head is the easier-access design.

Do more watts mean a better stand mixer?

Not necessarily. Wattage is the maker's figure and some listings quote peak or copper or DC motor wording. KitchenAid's listings here give no wattage, so do not compare across brands.

Does a stand mixer come with a dough hook?

Every listing here names a dough hook; the Hamilton Beach lists two. Check the contents on the exact model, since a "special" version may leave out pieces.

Can I use attachments like a pasta maker on any stand mixer?

Not all. The Cuisinart listing mentions an outlet for optional attachments, and the KitchenAid Classic lists attachments sold separately. Confirm hub fit by model number.

What does the "9 dozen cookies" claim mean?

It is KitchenAid's example for the 5-quart bowl using the flat beater and 28 g dough pieces. Your dough and recipe will change how much fits.

Are the quiet claims on these listings true?

They are the makers' own figures. The Aucma lists a 76 dB ceiling and the ZACME says under 70 dBA, both with no stated method. We did not measure anything.

Should I trust a stand mixer with few ratings?

Be careful. The Martha Stewart listing has about 320 ratings and the ZACME about 555, fewer than the long-running models. Read the review pages and the warranty.

Will stand mixers go on sale for Black Friday?

Amazon had not announced its dates as of Nov 4, 2026, and we have no source on specific products. Use price history tools and see the current price on Amazon.

What should I check about a "Black Friday special" mixer?

Match the model number to the regular version, then compare bowl size, attachments, color and the return window. A special bundle may change what is in the box.

Is the Hamilton Beach a real stand mixer?

Per the listing it is a 4-quart stand mixer with a detachable hand mixer, rated at 290 watts peak power. It is a different class from the metal full-size models.
