TVs on the Black Friday Watchlist: Panel Type, Size and Spec Traps

Ten best sellers, who each fits, and the spec traps.

DK By DopamineKart Legit | Published Nov 5, 2026
Short answer

These ten TVs are Amazon best sellers as of Nov 5, 2026. Panel names (QLED, Mini LED, OLED), refresh rates and HDR labels are maker claims, and the same model number can ship with a different panel by screen size. Settle size, smart platform and ports first, then confirm the exact model number and year on the listing.

What this article isThis is research-based. We did not buy or test any TV. We took the ten from Keepa's list of Amazon best sellers in TVs, pulled Nov 5, 2026, and skipped bundles, listings with only a handful of ratings, and near-duplicates (several sizes of one line count once; we name the size listed). Three picks are 2026 models with fewer than 400 ratings, and we say so on each card. Descriptions come from the Amazon listing bullets, so we write "the listing says". Ratings come from Amazon shoppers, not us. No prices appear here.

How we chose and how to read the numbers

The list is Amazon's best-seller order for TVs on Nov 5, 2026, so these are sets shoppers are actually buying. We left out a bundle that came with speakers, listings with only a handful of ratings, and other sizes of a line we had already picked. That left ten of the top sixteen. When a line comes in many sizes we note the size the listing shows, because a bullet can differ between sizes.

Two numbers appear on each card. The star rating and rating count come from Amazon shoppers, not from us. Sales rank is Amazon's ordering inside its category: a lower number means the item is selling more right now. A rank changes by the day and says it sells, not that it suits you.

Insignia 65" Class F50 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV, Voice Remote with Alexa, Stream Live TV Without Cable

Insignia 65" Class F50 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV, Voice Remote with Alexa, Stream Live TV Without Cable

Who it's for: Someone who wants a large 65-inch screen with Fire TV and Alexa built in. The listing says 4K, HDR10, a Direct Lit LED panel, 3 HDMI ports with eARC support, and an Alexa voice remote.

The catch: The bullets say HDR but name no peak brightness, and "Direct Lit" is a backlight layout, not a local-dimming claim. Its Alexa-first home screen suits Amazon households best.

Instead: If you already use Roku or Google TV, compare the Roku and TCL picks below.

Roku 40-Inch Select Series Smart TV 2026-1080p Full HD TV - RokuTV

Roku 40-Inch Select Series Smart TV 2026-1080p Full HD TV - RokuTV

Who it's for: A bedroom, kitchen or dorm. The listing says 40-inch, 1080p Full HD, Roku TV, Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth Headphone Mode, and voice control with Roku Voice, Siri, Alexa or Google Assistant.

The catch: It is 1080p, not 4K, and the bullets list no HDR format or refresh rate. Fine for a small room, a stretch for a big living room.

Instead: For a main living room, step up to a 4K set such as the Roku 50-inch below.

Roku 50-Inch Select Series Smart TV 2026-4K (2160p) QLED TV

Roku 50-Inch Select Series Smart TV 2026-4K (2160p) QLED TV

Who it's for: Someone who wants a first 4K set on Roku. The listing says 50-inch, 4K, QLED screen, HDR10, an enhanced voice remote with a lost-remote finder, and a frameless design.

The catch: The bullets name no refresh rate or local dimming. "QLED" here is the maker's label for a quantum dot screen, not a guarantee of picture quality.

Instead: If gaming matters, compare the Hisense and Samsung picks, whose bullets mention game features.

Samsung 65-Inch Class M70H Series, Mini LED, 4K, Smart TV, 2026 Model

Samsung 65-Inch Class M70H Series, Mini LED, 4K, Smart TV, 2026 Model

Who it's for: A living-room 65-inch for sports and gaming on Samsung's Tizen platform. The listing says Mini LED, 4K, Motion Xcelerator at 120Hz, a Gaming Hub, Soccer Mode and Samsung TV Plus.

The catch: Its "brighter highlights and deeper blacks" language is marked with an asterisk in the listing and is a maker claim. The bullets give no HDMI port count.

Instead: The 75-inch M80H below lists a higher refresh rate if you want a bigger step up.

Worth knowing: A 2026 model with about 1,300 ratings, so the review pool is still building.

SAMSUNG 40-Inch Class Full HD F6000 Smart TV (2025 Model) HDR, Object Tracking Sound Lite, Knox Security, One UI Tizen, Smart TV

Who it's for: A small-room Samsung. The listing says 40-inch Full HD, HDR, Object Tracking Sound Lite, Samsung Knox security, Q Symphony support with certain soundbars, and sound mirroring from a phone.

The catch: The title says 2025 model, not 2026. Q Symphony needs a compatible soundbar sold separately, and the bullets give no refresh rate.

Instead: If you want 4K at a small size, check which 4K sets the maker lists at that size.

Samsung 75-Inch Class M80H Series, Mini LED, 4K, Smart TV, 2026 Model

Samsung 75-Inch Class M80H Series, Mini LED, 4K, Smart TV, 2026 Model

Who it's for: A large 75-inch room and gaming. The listing says Mini LED with AI Mode, 144Hz Motion Xcelerator with Variable Refresh Rate, an NQ4 AI Gen2 processor and 4K AI upscaling.

The catch: The "144Hz" figure is a maker label; check which HDMI ports support it in the manual. Only about 376 ratings so far, which is a new 2026 model with a thin review pool.

Instead: If 75 inches is more than your room needs, the 65-inch M70H above is the smaller sibling.

Worth knowing: This is a new model with few ratings, so read recent reviews before relying on it.

TCL 55 Inch QM6K Series QLED Mini LED 4K HDR Smart Google TV, 55QM6K, 144Hz

Who it's for: Someone who wants Mini LED with Google TV at 55 inches. The listing says QD-Mini LED, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG, a 144Hz native refresh rate, and Google TV with Gemini.

The catch: "Designed to outperform traditional QLED and OLED" is marketing copy with no test shown. The bullets do not say how many local dimming zones it has.

Instead: If you prefer a Roku interface, see the Hisense 65-inch.

#8Hisense4.4 stars from 187 ratingsAmazon sales rank #978 on Nov 5, 2026
Hisense 65" Class E6SR Series Hi-QLED 4K UHD Smart Roku TV (65E6SR, 2026 Model) - Dolby Vision, Game Mode Plus, VRR, ALLM, DTS Virtual:X, Apple AirPlay, Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant

Hisense 65" Class E6SR Series Hi-QLED 4K UHD Smart Roku TV (65E6SR, 2026 Model) - Dolby Vision, Game Mode Plus, VRR, ALLM, DTS Virtual:X, Apple AirPlay, Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant

Who it's for: A 65-inch set on Roku for movies and games. The listing says Hi-QLED, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG, Game Mode Plus with VRR and ALLM, DTS Virtual:X, AirPlay and Apple Home.

The catch: The listing has about 190 ratings, so it is a 2026 model with a thin review pool. "Hi-QLED" is Hisense's own label.

Instead: For a set with far more reviews, the Insignia 65-inch has many more ratings.

Worth knowing: A new model with few ratings; the maker page did not open for us, so claims stay within the bullets.

Samsung 65-Inch Class S90H Series, OLED, 4K, Smart TV, 2026 Model

Samsung 65-Inch Class S90H Series, OLED, 4K, Smart TV, 2026 Model

Who it's for: Someone shopping for OLED at 65 inches. The listing says OLED HDR+, Glare Free, an NQ4 AI Gen3 processor, a 165Hz Motion Xcelerator, and support for NVIDIA G-SYNC or AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.

The catch: The asterisks in the listing mark claims you should read in the fine print, and "Glare Free" is a maker feature name. About 190 ratings, so reviews are limited so far. OLED screens can show burn-in with static content; check the maker's guidance.

Instead: If you watch in a bright room all day, compare Mini LED sets, and read our OLED vs Mini LED vs QLED explainer.

Worth knowing: A 2026 model with few ratings, shown here because it is a major-brand premium option.

#10Westinghouse4.5 stars from 2,527 ratingsAmazon sales rank #1,340 on Nov 5, 2026
Westinghouse Roku 24 Inch HD Smart TV, Dolby Audio, Apple AirPlay, Alexa

Westinghouse Roku 24 Inch HD Smart TV, Dolby Audio, Apple AirPlay, Alexa

Who it's for: A very small space such as a kitchen counter or RV. The listing says 24-inch, 720p, Roku TV, 3 HDMI inputs, Apple AirPlay 2, and support for Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit.

The catch: It is 720p HD, not Full HD or 4K, so text and fine detail will look softer on close viewing. The bullets list no HDR.

Instead: If you sit close enough to want sharper text, look at a 1080p set such as the Roku 40-inch.

Size is the first decision, ahead of panel label. Measure your wall or stand, then your seating distance. How to shop this category on Black Friday

Panel names are labels. QLED, Hi-QLED, QD-Mini LED, Mini LED and OLED describe how the screen is built, and each maker uses its own naming. The listings above give no measured brightness or contrast, so do not treat the label as a score. Our TV buying guide walks through what to check.

Refresh rate is a maker number. A 120Hz, 144Hz or 165Hz label does not say which HDMI ports carry it. Check the manual or spec sheet for the port that supports it.

"2026 model" and "2025 model" wording. Titles state a model year. Old models can be sold alongside new ones, so confirm the year and exact model number in the title match what you want. The Samsung F6000 above is a 2025 model.

Same model number, different size. A line like Roku Select Series or Samsung Mini LED comes in several sizes, and the panel type or features can change by size. Read the bullets for the size you are adding to the cart, not for another size.

A "Black Friday special" can be a different model. Compare the model number letter by letter with the regular listing. A version made for a sale may leave out a feature such as a port or a processor.

Settle these before you buy: What size fits the room? Which smart platform do you already use? Do you need eARC for a soundbar or VRR for a console? What is the return window and how are TVs shipped? Read our guides to telling a real deal from a fake one, price history tools, return windows and price matching, Black Friday dates by retailer, a budget and wishlist plan and Cyber Monday vs Black Friday.

How likely is it?

What is still unconfirmed, how sure we are, and what would settle it. Word labels, not percentages.

Possible Whether Amazon will run TV promotions this season. Amazon has not announced its Black Friday dates as of Nov 4, 2026, and we have no source for any promotion on a specific TV. What would settle it: Amazon's own deals page when events are announced.

Questions and answers

What is the most popular TV on Amazon right now?

In the Keepa data pulled Nov 5, 2026, the Insignia 65-inch F50 Fire TV ranked first in the TV list, followed by Roku's 40-inch Select. Rank changes daily and measures sales, not quality.

What does Amazon sales rank mean?

It orders products inside a category. A lower number means the item is selling more right now, so rank 1 sells the most. It does not rate quality.

Is QLED better than Mini LED?

They are different labels, and one set can be both, as the TCL listing says QD-Mini LED. The listings give no test numbers, so compare features and read independent reviews.

Is OLED worth waiting for on Black Friday?

We cannot say. No source we opened states which TVs will be discounted. Use price history tools and check the exact model on Amazon.

What does 144Hz mean on a TV?

It is the maker's refresh rate label, useful for fast games and sports. Check the manual for which HDMI ports support it.

Does the same TV model have the same panel at every size?

Not necessarily. Makers sometimes use different panel types by size, so read the listing for the exact size you are buying.

What is the difference between a 2025 and a 2026 model?

The title states the model year, such as the Samsung F6000 2025 model. We do not know feature differences year to year; compare the spec bullets.

Which TV on this list is the smallest?

The Westinghouse Roku 24-inch, at 720p, per its listing. It suits a kitchen or RV more than a living room.

Do all these TVs have a smart platform?

Per the listings, yes: Fire TV on the Insignia, Roku TV on the Roku, Hisense and Westinghouse, Tizen on the Samsungs, and Google TV on the TCL.

What does eARC do?

The Insignia listing says it sends audio from the TV's HDMI jack to a compatible soundbar or receiver without an extra cable. Check that your soundbar supports it.

Which TV here lists Dolby Vision?

The TCL QM6K and the Hisense E6SR list Dolby Vision. The Samsung bullets we read do not name it, so check the listing for the exact model.

Can I trust a TV with few ratings?

Be careful. Three picks here are 2026 models with fewer than 400 ratings, and we said so. Read recent reviews and the rating count before you decide.

What should I check about a Black Friday special TV?

Match the model number to the regular version and compare ports, size, model year and the return window. A sale version may leave out a feature.

Do I need a soundbar with these TVs?

Not necessarily. The Roku and Insignia listings describe built-in sound, but speaker quality varies, so see our soundbar guide if you want more.

Should I buy a TV on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

Our Cyber Monday vs Black Friday guide covers this. Amazon had not announced its dates as of Nov 4, 2026.
